Resources to Host an Affordable Connectivity Plan (ACP) Outreach Event in Your Community
Description:
The Affordable Connectivity Plan (ACP) is a benefit program from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward Internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 towards the device. All HUD-assisted residents are eligible for this program.
To date, HUD has helped host 45 ACP enrollment events across the country in 2023. PHAs, HUD-subsidized Multifamily owners, or Tribally Designated Housing Entities that host an ACP outreach event within 3 weeks of the ConnectHomeUSA Summit will be highlighted on the ConnectHomeUSA Website.
