Houston Housing Authority (HHA) currently administers approximately 2,600 public housing units and 18,900 Housing Choice Voucher units.

MTW Status

HHA was selected as an MTW agency in 2021 through the Stepped and Tiered Rent Cohort of the MTW Expansion, which was authorized by the 2016 MTW Expansion Statute. HHA's participation in the MTW program is through the end of its Fiscal Year 2042.
