Landlord Participation Research and Studies

Some research on landlord participation in the Housing Choice Voucher program (HCVP) exists currently. The links below include overviews of strategies for landlord incentives, public housing authority-reported strategies for attracting and retaining landlords, a large-scale multisite study of landlord acceptance rate of vouchers, a 5-year ethnographic study of landlord reasons for participation, and summaries of comments about their experience with HCVP. In addition to describing incentives, a number of the publications include policy implications.
