An organization that employs volunteer humanitarian action to empower American Indian communities, foster cultural sensitivity and understanding, and contribute grassroots solutions to the enormous challenge of improving the dire housing conditions facing many of our nation's reservations.
Adopt a Native Elder Program
The program provides food, simple medicines, clothing, fabric and yarns to help Navajo Elders live on the Land in their traditional lifestyle.
AmeriCorps in Native American Communities
Serving with national and community nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, schools, and local agencies, these service participants tutor and mentor children, coordinate after-school programs, build homes, conduct neighborhood patrols, respond to disasters, and recruit and manage volunteers.
The International Partnership for Service Learning and Leadership
A non-profit organization that serves students, colleges, universities, service agencies and related organizations around the world by fostering programs that link volunteer service to the community and academic study.
Global Volunteers
Choose to assist North and Central America volunteer programs. Live and work with local people on life-affirming community development projects for one - three weeks. Volunteer teams support some 90 host communities on six continents.
Corporation for National and Community Service

Citizen Corps was created to help coordinate volunteer activities that will make our communities safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to any emergency situation. It provides opportunities for people to participate in a range of measures to make their families, their homes, and their communities safer from the threats of crime, terrorism, and disasters of all kinds.
National Society for American Indian Elderly (NSAIE)
The NSAIE works with Tribes, tribal organizations and Native non-profits in locations across the United States to improve the quality of life for under-served American Indian, Alaska Native and Pacific American Elders.
