Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids
Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids is a service of the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO). This site provides learning tools for K-12 students, parents, and teachers. These resources will teach how our government works, the use of the primary source materials of GPO Access, and how one can use GPO Access to carry out their civic responsibilities.

FDA Kids

FEMA for Kids
This site, supported by the Federal Energy Management Agency, teaches kids how to be prepared for disasters and how to prevent disaster damage. Kids can also learn what causes disasters, play games, read stories and become a Disaster Action Kid.

U.S. Department of Treasury Kids Zone

NOAA Education Primarily for Students
A site for kids supported by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that includes fun activities and learning about the planet’s weather, climate, oceans, satellites and space.

CIA's Homepage for Kids
The site provides information on the Central Intelligence Agency, including general history, the Canine Corps, Games, Say No To Drugs, and Spy-Fi Archives.

FBI Kids
Provides information about the Federal Bureau of Investigation, safety, links to games, and terrific information on working dogs. The site for older kids adds investigative information, such as following a case through an FBI laboratory.

The Environmental Protection Agency’s website allows kids to explore the environment and learn about neat things to do to protect it.

Basic Readings in U.S. Democracy
