Contacts for Changes to FHA-Insured Case Data
In order to process mortgage record changes or obtain the results of mortgage record change transactions, error code descriptions, and directions for correcting errors, lenders should go to the FHA Connection.
If a correction cannot be made through the FHA Connection, the lender can contact HUD's Single Family Insurance Operations Division, Systems Management Branch, Data Quality Control Section to obtain assistance with the following data quality corrections:
- Address Changes
- Reinstatements
- Refinance Cases
- BI Error Codes
- Premium Problems (Endorsement and/or Termination corrections)
- Premium Reconciliation and/or Billing questions -- contact LenderAssistance@hud.gov
- Data Quality Corrections for Claims
- Exceptions
- Other Problems
In order to process your request more efficiently, please send an email to SystemManagement@hud.gov. Please include your FHA Lender ID number and FHA Case Number(s) with your request. Documentation to support your changes and/or screen prints of the error message(s) should be scanned and included as an attachment to your email.
