        SUBJECT:  Single Family Mortgage Insurance Claims
                          Submissions
 
                This Mortgagee Letter updates the address to be used when
        sending Form HUD-27011, Parts A and B, related documents and
        correspondence to HUD Headquarters by private courier/express
        mail.  The contractor address on L Street should no longer be
        used.  Instead, all courier/express mail should be sent to:
 
                Department of Housing and Urban Development
                Single Family Mortgage Insurance Claims Branch
                Systems Management and Control Section
                451 Seventh Street SW, Room 6137
                Washington, D.C. 20410
 
                Mortgagees are encouraged to use the special Post Office box
        to mail claims and related correspondence.  This address remains
        the same.  It is:

                Office of Mortgage Insurance Accounting and Servicing
                Single Family Mortgage Insurance Claims Branch
                P.O. Box 23998
                Washington, D.C. 20026-3998
 
                The cost of mailing claims to HUD is the responsibility of
        the mortgagee.  No mailing costs will be accepted by HUD.
