SUBJECT:  IMPROVED ASSIGNMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION PROCESS
     VIDEOTAPES AND INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDE
 
     The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is
making available to all program participants videotapes and an
instructional guide (text) for the Improved Assignment Program
Application Process.  The videotapes have been reduced from the
original 16 hours of instruction to approximately five (5) hours.
The instructional guide has not been reduced.  The text contains
all material used during the 16 hour distance learning course.
Instructions for lenders, HUD field staff, case studies and
exercises remain in the guide.
 
     The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) , an agency
of the Department of Commerce, is the exclusive distributor of this
material.
 
     Attached is a flyer which provides information with respect to
how these items are being sold and the prices.  On the reverse of
the flyer is an order form for your convenience.
 
     Questions regarding the purchase of this material must be
directed to NTIS.  Questions concerning the Assignment Program
should be directed to the local HUD Office.
