What purpose does Executive Summary serve?
The Executive Summary is intended to be a "snapshot" of the status and condition of the HA for use by management in monitoring the HA, during Board or commissioner briefings, and for communicating with the public. HUD uses it to brief senior officials concerning an agency in the spotlight due to exceptional performance, notoriety, or other issues. It can be printed to include in a briefing book or downloaded as a text file for use in other reports and documents. It has eight parts:
- HA Details (HA Code, Formal Name, HA Program Type, HA Fiscal Year End, and Assigned HUD Office)
- HA Address (Physical Address and Mailing Address)
- HA Staff/Contacts (Executive Director and Board Chairperson)
- HA Inventory (Low Rent: Development and Unit Counts; Section 8: Increment and Unit Counts)
- Demolition/Disposition and Removal from Inventory Information (Number of Units Approved for Demo/Dispo and Number of Units Removed from Inventory, by Development Number)
- HA Performance (PHAS and SEMAP scores, as applicable)
- HA Funding (Funding source; Fiscal Year; and Authorized, Disbursed, Obligated and Expended Funds)
- HA Comments (Reviewer High Level Comments)
How do I correct data in Executive Summary?
The Executive Summary pulls data from other sections of IMS/PIC,
so the data must be corrected in those other sections. Financial
data is transferred weekly on Saturdays from the HUD financial systems
(HUDCAPS for Section 8 funding and PAS-LOCCS for Operating Subsidy
and other grants), so any disagreement with the values must be resolved
in those systems. Call your field office for assistance with these
types of errors. IMS/PIC merely reports the values in those other
systems and cannot correct any discrepancies in them.
How can I correct the financial data shown?
