Kaleida Heath - On January 5, 2010, Kaleida Health of Buffalo, New York, closed on a $100 million loan to fund construction of its new global heart and vascular institute in December 2009. The loan was Kaleida's fourth FHA-insured loan.
Baraga County Memorial Hospital - In January 2010, a combination of Section 242 mortgage insurance and Build America Bonds enabled Baraga to access capital for its replacement facility at a rate lower than some highly-rated health systems.
Coulee Medical Center - In October 2009, Coulee Medical Center became the first public hospital district in Washington state to access capital through the FHA 242 program, and the second in which 242 mortgage insurance was combined with Build America Bonds to reduce interest expense.

Delta Regional Medical Center - In February 2007, HUD issued a $34.8 million mortgage insurance commitment for the Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.
Onslow County Hospital Authority - In July 2006, Onslow County Hospital Authority in Jacksonville, North Carolina received a 4.79 percent interest rate on its $55.1 million FHA-insured mortgage.
University of New Mexico - In 2005, the University of New Mexico celebrated the HUD funding of their new Children's Hospital and Critical Care Pavilion.
Montefiore Medical Center - Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, winner of numerous awards for quality, IT innovation, and management, has used multiple Section 242 loans to finance its growth from its first insured loan in 1984, to its most recent loan in 2005.
Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) - In 2004, HUD issued the second largest mortgage insurance commitment in its history to build a replacement hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.
Sinai Health System - In Fall 2003, landscape architects completed a 10,000 square foot therapeutic rooftop garden at Sinai Health System's Schwab Rehabilitation Center. Sinai Health System is a Section 242 insured facility located in Chicago, IL.
Rio Grande Hospital and Shoshone Medical Center - In July 2003, HUD issued its first critical access hospital mortgage insurance commitments. These commitments enabled rural hospitals in Idaho and Colorado to replace their aging hospitals with brand new facilities.
